Surgical gloves were found outside a residence on Oak Street, according to a 3:03 p.m. report.

Police and the Fire Department received a 7:26 p.m. report of a house fire on Lake Street, but the caller subsequently determined that the blaze was actually in a fire pit.

Monday

A possible “prowler” was reported on Curwen Road at 3:37 a.m., but officers checked the area and were unable to locate anything suspicious.

Police and Atlantic Ambulance responded to an 11:01 a.m. report that somebody was yelling for help on Endicott St., but that person later refused medical transport.

A Waldingsfield Lane woman requested assistance removing her emergency brake at 11:04 a.m. An officer helped her.

An Aborn Street woman reported at 1:44 p.m. that her sister had opened a National Grid account in her name.

Sunday

A 9:36 a.m. report that a man was walking in the roadway and telling cars to hit him brought police to Herrick Street, where they determined, “Party having a bad day over father’s court case and girlfriend leaving him. Party calmed down and refused any further assistance.”

Swampscott

Friday

Police received a 7:41 p.m. report that a group of youths were offering people alcohol near the baseball diamond at 200 Forest Ave. An officer was unable to locate them.

Saturday

Someone had been “pouring stuff” on a girl’s car at 15 Paradise Road, according to a 9:35 p.m. report.

An erratic operator in a gray Mercedes nearly struck a police officer and took off toward Lynn on Lynn Shore Drive after being told to stop, according to a 9:04 p.m. report. Police didn’t report catching up with the vehicle.

Sunday

A Paradise Road resident reported that for the second time in two days, somebody had dumped coffee all over a vehicle. “Believed to have been doing by adjacent rooming house,” police wrote.
