Police conducted a traffic stop at noon and arrested Paul Casale, 62, of 18 Rainbow Road, Marblehead, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and drunken driving, second offense.

An Evans Road woman reported at 3:44 p.m. that her husband had made comments about “burning down the house, but she does not think he would really do it.” The woman that the man’s “M.O. would be to hire someone to do it,” according to the log.
