Wednesday

Youths discovered a Social Security card in a yard on Cornell Road, according to a 10:41 a.m. report. Police took the item.

Police received a 7:08 p.m. report of the “same loud love people” in a car near the Stramski Way park. Police had received a similar complaint on March 22. “Just sitting in the car, they are moving along,” police wrote after an officer investigated.

Thursday

A Pitman Road woman reported hearing “popping” sounds at 4:29 a.m., but police were unable to locate anything suspicious in the area.

Beverly

Wednesday

A vehicle’s windshield was broken by a baseball at 24 Dunham Road, according to a 5:09 p.m. report.

Police received a 10:05 p.m. report that somebody was yelling for help in a field near 7 Sohier Road, but were unable to locate anything suspicious after responding to the area.

Swampscott

Wednesday

An Arbutus Road resident reported at 4:58 p.m. that jewelry had been stolen from the home during a carpet installation.

Salem

Wednesday

A 6:45 p.m. report of smoke in a residence brought police and the Fire Department to 31 Summit Ave., where they determined that food had been burned.

Police received a 7:34 p.m. report that a white sedan pulled up near two children on Buffum Street and that they “thought the operator was taking pictures of them.” Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

An 11:21 p.m. report of an undesirable person at the Hawthorne Hotel resulted in the arrest of Steven Levesque, 53, homeless, on a charge of trespassing.

Thursday

Police responded to a 3:13 a.m. report of a disturbance at 31 Park St. and arrested Gittaria Calcano, 31, of the same address, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Police investigated a 4:29 a.m. report of “loud pops” in the area of 73 Moffatt Road, but were unable to locate anything amiss.
