Thursday

Daniel German III, 24, of 5 Porter St., Salem, was arrested and charged with assault and battery and intimidation of a witness.

Jonathan Stretton, 32, of 381 Washington St., Melrose, was arrested and charged with speeding and driving with a suspended license at 2:13 p.m. during a vehicle stop on the Sgt. James Ayube Memorial Drive bypass road.

Friday

At 2:08 a.m., Chiquana Clayton, 20, of 71 Loring Ave., Salem, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and a one-way street violation during a Norman Street traffic stop.

Police responded to a report of youths fighting at Charter Street and Museum Place at 2:55 a.m. Three juvenile males were taken to the police station, their parents were called and the juveniles were released to their parents.

At 12:49 p.m., Salem police and fire responded to a small kitchen fire at 12 Pope St.

Tanaia Chamberlain, 37, address listed as homeless, Salem, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on an EMT.

Beverly

Thursday

Anne Bancroft Rice, 59, of 66 Haskell St., Beverly, was arrested and charged with drunken driving, third offense and a marked lanes violation during a 11:46 p.m. vehicle stop.

Friday

At 6:30 a.m., police took a report of a champagne bottle thrown through the rear window of a vehicle on Parramatta Road.

Danvers

Thursday

Police responded to 8 Newbury St. at 10:10 a.m. after a woman reported seeing a man doing a lewd act in a Toyota Camry behind Chili’s restaurant. Police issued a court summons to a 26-year-old male Peabody resident for open and gross lewdness.

Friday

At 8:25 a.m., police took a report of medication missing from a group home at 2 Rogers Road.

Police took a report of protesters in front of Bank of America, 81 Elm St., at 10:31 a.m.

Friday afternoon, Massachusetts State Police and environmental crews responded to a fuel spill from a tractor trailer on Route 95 North, near Route 114. No injuries were reported and the road was not closed.

Peabody

Thursday

At 8:58 p.m., Kenneth Marino, 29, of 29 Kent St. Apt. 1, Newburyport, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license.

Swampscott

Thursday

A red Mini Cooper was reported stolen from in front of St. John’s Church, 174 Humphrey St., at 7:39 p.m.
