A Mechanic Square woman reported at 9:34 a.m. that her cousin had been receiving threatening Facebook messages and phone calls in the early morning hours.

A caller reported at 10:29 a.m. that a woman had waved at her near Lafayette and Pleasant streets. Police wrote that the woman said it was an “overt attempt at attention” and that she wanted it logged.

Police received an 11:52 a.m. report of a domestic disturbance on Washington Street and arrested David Menzies, 33, of 150 Washington St., Apt. 4, Marblehead, on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (cake pan), domestic assault and battery, and malicious destruction of property over $250.

A Lee Street man told police at 1:41 p.m. that he been getting bills from his ex-wife’s dentist. “Wants criminal charges for harassment against dentist,” police wrote. An officer advised him that it was a civil matter.

Police received a 12:58 p.m. report from a Cornell Road woman who said “there appeared to be chewing tobacco on her car” and that somebody had tried to get into it.

Police received an 8:33 p.m. report that snowballs had been thrown at a front door on Chestnut Street for the past three days. “Caller does not see anyone by the time he looks outside,” police wrote.

Police received a 3:19 p.m. report that people were arguing over a parking space at 57 Dodge St., but a search of the area didn’t yield anything suspicious.

Sunday

Police transported a man home after responding to a 3:59 p.m. report of a “male party with his pants down in the main entryway” at The Cheesecake Factory at the Northshore Mall.

Police received an 11:11 p.m. report of a disturbance at 30 King St. and determined that a brother and sister were fighting “over a barking dog.”
