---- — PEABODY — Police say a Lynn man who had stolen numerous items from at least one garage and one shed overnight on Tuesday was turned in by his older sister yesterday morning.

Nicholas D. Tower, 32, of 24 Jenness St., Apt. 2, was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property over $250 and possession of a class E drug.

Police received a 10:51 a.m. report from a 36-year-old woman at her mother’s address on Newbury Street who said that her brother had “several stolen items with him that he admitted to stealing overnight,” according to the log and an interview with Sgt. Robert Waugh.

Tower was subsequently found to be in possession of a number of stolen tools, including an air compressor, a saw, a hammer drill, a nailer and a leaf blower, and also a battery charger, a boat motor and jewelry, Waugh said.

The items had allegedly been stolen from two addresses in West Peabody and one in Lynnfield.
