Police and firefighters responded to a report about 7 p.m. of a rollover accident on Route 128 southbound right before Exit 28, according to radio reports. An officer on scene initially thought nobody was inside or around the vehicle, which had flipped on its roof, but then located a woman “underneath the dashboard” and helped her out. A state trooper said she was not injured or transported to a hospital.
A 37-year-old man on Elmwood Road refused medical transport after a 4:12 a.m. report that he was possibly having a breakdown and “thinks he’s gonna die.”
A motorist reported at 3:35 p.m. that there was an object in the roadway — “believed to be a weapon” — at 26 New Ocean St. “Officer reports toy, item removed,” police wrote later.
An 11:21 p.m. report that somebody was slumped over the wheel of a Jeep Cherokee brought police to 237 Atlantic Ave. Subsequently arrested was Gabrielle Rohde, 19, of 13 Barnard Hawks Court, Marblehead, on a charge of driving under the influence of drugs.
A 13-year-old girl went to the station about 6 p.m. to report that a male had tried to enter the women’s room at Marshalls on Paradise Road while she was inside.
Police received a 10:01 p.m. report that a band was playing loudly in the basement of 40 Central St. “Band stopped playing music,” an officer wrote later. “Group dispersed.”
Police responded to 285 Cabot St. after a 12:13 a.m. report of an intoxicated man and found him passed out against the building. Police wrote: “Initially difficult to wake up, but eventually came around and was able to walk away on his own.”
A 7 a.m. report of a disturbance brought police to 45 Balch St. “Party yelling and singing, advised,” police wrote later.
Two people were transported to a hospital after a 5:47 p.m. report of an accident at 107 Dodge St. Two vehicles were towed.
