A Daniels Street woman reported at 11:45 a.m. that her plants had been stolen on June 10 and she suspected a landscape company had taken them. “She approached one of the landscape workers and inquired about her stolen plants,” wrote police. “The worker stated they cleaned up her yard by accident but did not take any plants.”
A March Street woman reported at 12:15 p.m. that a UPS package containing a pair of $74 size 3 teal-and-white LeBron James sneakers had been stolen from her front porch.
Police received a 2:21 p.m. report that a dog was defecating on a lawn at 14 Cherry St.
Police received an 8:42 a.m. report of two suspicious males in a motorized boat at the reservoir near 322 Locust St., but they were unable to locate them.
A 1:49 p.m. report of shoplifting at the Kohl’s on Independence Way resulted in the arrest of Ann Cormier, 39, of 14 Bourbon St., Peabody, on a charge of shoplifting.
A 1:06 a.m. report of a loud bang brought police to the area of Goat Hill Lane and Summit Avenue, but they were unable to locate anything suspicious.
Police received a 6:53 a.m. report that a work crew had started prior to 7 a.m. at 40 Prince St.
An intoxicated man was transported to Beverly Hospital after an 11:16 a.m. report that he was “passed out or sleeping” near 48 Pond St.
At 12:25 p.m., an officer at 389 Cabot St. arrested Ryan McAniff, 22, of 904 Broughton Drive, Beverly, on a charge of distribution of a class C drug; and Michael K. McCallum Jr., 17, of 15 Bennett St., Beverly, on charges of possession of a class C drug and possession of a class B drug.
A 2:45 p.m. report that a young girl “heard noises” brought police to 12 Douglas Ave. “Checked inside of home, no persons found,” wrote police.
