Marblehead

Saturday

Police received an 8:05 a.m. report that a 14-year-old boy with blond hair was shooting squirrels with a BB gun on Waldron Court.

A Girdler Road woman reported at 10:54 a.m. that her 22-year-old son was being disrespectful.

Police gave a motorist a verbal warning after a road-rage incident on Atlantic Avenue, according to an 11:16 a.m. log item. “Operator was advised to keep his vulgarities to himself,” wrote police.

Police responded to a 7:14 p.m. report of loud music on Jane Road and determined it was coming from a mother-daughter birthday party. “They will turn the music down,” wrote police. “Surrounding neighbors had all been notified.” Police returned to the address after another report of loud music later on. “Party is breaking up,” wrote police.

Police responded to a 10:23 p.m. report that a woman could hear somebody screaming, “Stop, someone help me” on Atlantic Avenue. An officer determined the woman was stuck on her roof; the Fire Department forced entry to the residence and helped the woman. Police wrote in the log that she had gone out on her roof deck with latex spray to address a leak and encountered a hornet’s nest. “In the confusion as the hornets became agitated the door got shut and she was locked on the roof deck,” wrote police.

Sunday

Police received a 4:26 a.m. complaint at the station from a man who said he had been offered the opportunity to purchase a bicycle stolen from an “M” town — either Marblehead or Malden. Police wrote that the man said his complaint about the issue was “payback” because the other male had “betrayed” him.

Police received a 10:25 a.m. report that kids were selling lemonade in the area of Foster Street and Valley Road from a caller who voiced concern that the kids might get hit by cars speeding down the road; police determined there were no issues. “Kids are sitting in their chairs, with an umbrella and sign,” an officer wrote.
