Police: Man assaults Home Depot employee

SALEM — Police say a Lynn man was arrested yesterday afternoon after he got into a physical confrontation with store security at the Home Depot on Trader’s Way.

Kabineh Kaba, 42, of 37 Upham Road, Lynn, was arrested on a charges of shoplifting and assault and battery.

Police responded to a 12:40 p.m. report that a man was yelling inside the Home Depot at 50 Traders Way and determined that he’d been stopped by security personnel “after attempting to leave the store with computer cable connections,” according to the incident log.

In the process of trying to leave the store, the man pushed the employee, leading to the assault charge, police wrote.
