IPSWICH — The names of three finalists for superintendent will be announced at the School Committee meeting tomorrow night.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in the ensemble room at Ipswich High School.
Superintendent Rick Korb announced in September that he will retire June 30 after 15 years at the helm of Ipswich schools.
The three finalists were selected after a search committee reviewed materials from 30 candidates and interviewed nine semifinalists, according to the School Committee. The finalists will be in town April 9, 10 and 11 to visit the district and have public interviews, which will take place each night at 7 in the ensemble room.
Schedules for each candidate will be set later this week.
A group of School Committee members, teachers, administrators and parents will visit each finalist’s home district.
The committee is hoping to name a new superintendent during an April 25 meeting.
