A Bass Rock Lane man reported at 4:17 p.m. that his laptop had been taken from his house while he was working in the garage, but an officer found it in a room.
A woman reported loud music at a residence on Middle Street at 4:23 p.m. “She reports they were also out in the hot tub last night around 1:30 a.m.,” police wrote. Police checked the area but determined that the music was “not unreasonable at this time.”
Police conducted a traffic stop at Mason and Tucker streets at 12:03 a.m. and arrested Erik Juan Hernandez, 34, of 83 Annafran St., Roslindale, on charges of drunken driving and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
A man called police at 1:29 a.m. to report that he heard somebody yelling “Help! Help!” from inside his father’s house on Summer Street. Michael Mattson, 47, of 24 Summer St., Apt. 1, Marblehead, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and witness intimidation.
An Ocean Avenue woman reported at 8:13 a.m. that someone “with an agenda” had vandalized her car and house with eggs.
One person was hospitalized after a 3 p.m. report that a man’s drunken brother had pulled a knife on him, but police later reported that “there was no assault with knife.”
The chimney of an empty building on Washington Street collapsed onto a neighboring house, according to a 6:10 p.m. log item. No injuries were reported.
A white woman described as being 5-foot-5 with orange or red hair stole $1,000 of merchandise from Victoria’s Secret at the Northshore Mall, according to a 5:22 p.m. report. An officer was unable to locate the suspect.
A 5:34 p.m. report of a sick animal on a sidewalk brought an officer to 14 Carol Ann Road. “Officer reports woodchuck was moved,” police wrote.
