Maria Maia, 43, of 34 Balcomb St., Salem, was arrested around 3 p.m. on Andover Street on charges of driving without a license and failing to use care while starting, stopping and turning.
Police were called at 5:32 p.m. to Kappy’s Liquors on a report of a woman “making rude gestures” to cars passing by.
Daniel Aguilar, 27, of 70 Walnut St., Lynn, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. on Lowell Street on charges of driving without a license.
Gina Napolitano, 47, of 261 Newbury St., was arrested around 1 p.m. at Northshore Mall on charges of shoplifting.
Robert Bradley, 33, of 142 Oxford St., Lawrence, and Joseph Buonarosa, 60, of 62 Water St., Danvers, were arrested after police were called to a private beach in Beverly Farms around 8:23 p.m. on a report of two possibly drunken men who had beached their boat. Both men were arrested on charges of breaking and entering at night, and Buonarosa was given an additional charge of drinking from an open container of alcohol.
Police were called to Bryant Street at 5:44 a.m. to respond to a strange black and white cat in a woman’s kitchen. The cat wouldn’t let her near it or near the rear door. Officers on the scene convinced the cat to exit through the rear into the yard, where it caused no further problems.
Carol Oliver, 50, of 75 Silsbee St., Lynn, was arrested around 2:45 a.m. from Harbor Street on charges of stealing less than $250 worth of items, witness intimidation, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after a dispute with her ex-girlfriend.
Luz Serrano, 28, of 281 Essex St., Lynn, was arrested around 10:16 a.m. on charges of driving an unregistered, uninsured car with a suspended license.
Jessica Freeman, 37, of 67 Poplar St., Danvers, was arrested around 10:30 a.m. from Walgreens on New Derby Street on charges of third-offense shoplifting and an outstanding warrant.
