Nicholas Lemoine, 28, unlisted address, was arrested around 5 p.m. on charges of illegal possession of a knife and on an outstanding warrant.
Police were called to Palmer Street on a report of a neighbor dispute around 5:11 p.m. One neighbor alleged that the other was threatening to give false information to the police and to fight her. Both were advised of their rights, and were told to stay away from each other.
Police were called at 8:15 p.m. to Salem High School on a report of several bike parts stolen. The back tire, chain, brakes, seat and pedals were all taken.
Ruben Bocchetti, 26, of 266 Newbury St., Peabody, was arrested around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Arbella and Warner streets on charges of resisting arrest and giving a false name to police. Bocchetti was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Police were called at 1:01 a.m. to Washington Street on a report of a man bleeding from his face. The man said he was talking to his friend when an unknown man with a dog came up to them and starting talking. The dog then jumped up and bit the victim on the face, police said.
Police were called at 4:54 a.m. to Lafayette Street building when a woman was unable to open her apartment door from the inside.
A woman reported receiving a call from “Tim Brooks” from the IRS, as logged at 10:35 a.m. “Brooks” threatened to have the sheriff arrest her if she didn’t pay immediately. The woman knew she had no issue with the IRS and did not fall for what the police call an “obvious scam.”
A man turned a small plastic bag filled with a crystal-like substance over to police after he found it on Cedar Street around 12:30 p.m.
