City to host road-paving meeting

BEVERLY — Mayor Mike Cahill will host a community meeting Tuesday night to discuss the city’s road paving and infrastructure plan.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Beverly Senior Center at 90 Colon St.

Cahill and Commissioner of Public Services Mike Collins will talk about upcoming road paving work, capital infrastructure plans and the Rantoul Street/Route 1A reconstruction project.

The city is planning to spend $3 million on streets and sidewalks over the next year, nearly twice as much as last year.
