Friday

Police broke up a party of about 25 people at the intersection of Congress and Porter streets around 11:00 p.m. on a noise complaint.

Police were called at 11:23 p.m. to River Street on a report of a loud party, possibly while the owner was not home. About 20 party-goers, possibly underage drinkers, fled after officers came to the door.

Saturday

Police were called at 2:16 p.m. to the intersection of Rantoul and School streets on a report of a man yelling at an elderly couple and a woman. The man was gone by the time officers got to the scene.

Police were called at 9:29 a.m. to Federal Street on a report of a slashed tire.

Police were called at 2:23 p.m. to Dodge Street on a report of a neighbor stealing rocks.

Monday

Jessica Malone, 32, of an unlisted address, was arrested around 12:58 p.m. from Cabot Street on charges of domestic assault and battery.

Salem

Sunday

Police were called at 2:15 p.m. to the Circle K Gas Station on Highland Avenue on a report of a hit and run after a small silver pickup truck, possibly a Nissan or a Toyota, rear-ended a Cadillac Deville.

Police were called to Greenlawn Cemetery on Orne Street at 3:23 p.m. on a report of “youths fishing at the pond.” They were advised that it was illegal and sent on their way.

Police were called at 3:31 p.m. on a report of harassing phone calls. The caller alleged that he got a call from his ex-girlfriend’s phone and was left a message from her new boyfriend, who threatened to “[expletive] him up” if he ever came near her.

Police were called to May Street around 3:37 p.m. on a report of “youths in the park” engaging in possible drug activity.
