A caller reported there was a man dressed in camouflage on Orne Street at 2:39 p.m. Police located the man who said he just ran a mile and was doing push-ups inside the cemetery. He said he was wearing camo in celebration of the Fourth of July.
A Washington Street resident reported a past theft. She said someone entered her parked car around 9:30 p.m. the night before and stole a cellphone.
Police responded to a two-car crash with property damage at the intersection of Bridge Street and Western Avenue at 6:09 p.m.

A deer was struck in the area of Apple Road and Trask Court at 10:09 a.m. Police said the deer was located in Danvers and Danvers police were notified. There wasn’t any damage to the vehicle.
Eric Davis, 33, listed as homeless, was arrested at 5:34 p.m. and charged with larceny over $250 following a report of shoplifting at BJ’s. Police said $400 worth of merchandise was stolen.

At 12:21 p.m. an Essex Street resident reported he discovered someone had opened credit card accounts under his name after he ran a credit report on himself.
A victim from a previous car break-in on Hardy Road reported finding a steak knife in her yard at 2:11 p.m. She believed the person who was arrested might have dropped it.
