It happens — a resident on High Street complained that a neighbor’s BMW rolled into his car during the night. But the police log noted at 9:17 a.m. that this is the third time it’s happened. Included is a complaint that the neighbor comes home late from the bars.

Residents on Beverly Avenue told police at 4:30 p.m. of two letters from a neighbor complaining that, among other things, they get water on his fence when they water their lawn and they’ve trimmed his hedges that overhang their property. Police directed them to a civil attorney.

A caller at 2:03 a.m. told police that while fishing “in Marblehead near a small island” his boat sank. He was unsure of the exact location. “There is no one left on the boat,” according to the log, “and when they left, only the bow of the boat remained above water.” The boater and his father returned to the landing on another vessel.

The theft of 150 pounds of lobsters was reported on Front Street at 12:52 p.m.

A car on Cedar Street was jacked up and all four tires stolen, as logged at 1:11 p.m.

Alex Chabez, 27, and Efrain Perez, 27, both of 14 Essex St., Danvers, were arrested, as logged at 2:47 p.m. at Sears at Northshore Mall on shoplifting charges.

A man told police at 4:24 p.m. that he’d been a victim of domestic assault on Foster Street. A 46 year-old woman will be summonsed on a charge of assault and battery.

Instead of going to the checkout counter, a 50-year-old woman walked out of the Howley Street Stop & Shop with a cart full of goods, according to the log at 7:10 p.m. She was seen “currently unloading the carriage into (a vehicle).” Police will summons her for shoplifting.
