Monique Gonyea, 32, of 332 Rantoul St., was arrested from CVS on Rantoul Street around 11:42 a.m. on charges of passing an illegal prescription.
Police were called to Cabot Street at 11:35 p.m. on a report of possible identity theft. Someone claimed her Social Security number and identity had been used.
A car radio was reported stolen on Rantoul Street at 1:12 p.m.
A man will be summonsed to court on a charge of assault and battery “after an incident at the Salem Hospital,” reported at 10:13 a.m.
Police were called to Hamilton Street at 11:26 a.m. after a Jehovah’s Witness was seen with a child around the age of 6, rubbing his back while he was talking.
Someone found a crossbow on Winter Island Street and reported it to police at 2:05 p.m.
Around 6:59 p.m., a man tried to cash a lottery ticket from New Hampshire at the Shaw’s on Trader’s Way. When he was told he couldn’t cash it in Massachusetts, he became upset and yelled at employees. The man was served a no trespass order.
Police were called to Blaney Street at 7:05 p.m. on a report of suspicious activity. A group was found leaving with a hookah, which was determined to have been used to smoke strawberry-flavored tobacco. They were advised to use the hookah in a less public place next time.
A cigar box full of coins was taken from a house on Sumner Road. The caller told officers that he suspects it was his son, who is also accused of stealing a check from his mother. The incident was logged at 7:24 p.m.
A woman’s ex-boyfriend is suspected of posted “unflattering pictures” of her on Facebook. Officers advised her to contact the website and ask them to take the photos down.
