---- — A story in yesterday’s paper on the Beverly City Council’s revocation of hot-dog vendor John Doyle’s license requires a correction. The story said Doyle’s alleged assault of an 86-year-old man came after a night of drinking at the Italian Community Center. Doyle’s lawyer, Ronald Ranta, told councilors that Doyle had been over-served alcohol by a “licensed establishment” but did not name the establishment. Italian Community Club vice president John Bianchi said the club did not serve Doyle any alcohol that night.
