Peter P. Marchesini, 61, 276 Rantoul St., was arrested on a warrant for stealing a cooler full of alcohol, according to a 10:08 p.m. report.


A motor vehicle was reported stolen from 32 Story Ave. at 12:48 a.m.

Tires were reported slashed at 26 Homes St. at 2:56 a.m.

A house at 5 Virginia Ave. was reportedly shot at with a BB gun, according to a 10:58 a.m. report.

Casey J. Sarofian, 22, of Bradford, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery at the intersection of Dodge Street and Access Road at 7:57 p.m.



Gerald Morse, 34, 43 Brackenbury Lane, Beverly, was arrested at Motel 6, 65 Newbury St., at 10:22 p.m. on charges of domestic assault and battery, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.



Four people were transported to Beverly Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the driver of the car veered off Asbury Street trying to avoid a deer and struck a tree at 1:45 a.m. Saturday.



A report of a trapped skunk calls for one brave officer. A woman at 36 Ord St. called police at 3:10 p.m. about a skunk that got itself stuck in a trash can. With a little bit of effort (and courage), the officer was able to tip the can over and release the skunk without being injured or sprayed.

Christine Baze, 44, 80 Wharf St., Salem, was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and drunken driving, according to an 11:23 p.m. report. After being called to a Sewall Street parking lot for a past hit-and-run, police tracked Baze down at her house and arrested her. “There was fresh paint exchange on the right front bumper of Baze’s car,” police wrote. According to the report, she told police she had two drinks at dinner but failed all three field sobriety tests.
