Let's keep voting in schools

To the editor:

Natalie Maga’s letter (”Let’s keep the wonderful tradition of voting in schools,” July 15) said it all about the voting in schools. I think it is very safe for the children; every time we vote, there is a police officer there. Instead of looking for other places to vote, maybe the school board could find other ways to make it even safer. How about having the teachers’ workshop days on the same days as voting; then the children would not be in the schools? Maybe there could be others who have ideas to make the schools safer. Lets hear from them before we make the decision to leave the schools.
