Moses J. Morales, 23, of 30a Blaney Ave. in Peabody, was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 5:15 p.m. near Lynn Street and Linden Road.
Elizabeth Luna, 31, of 12 Summit Ave. in Chelsea, was charged with malicious destruction of property over $250 and misdemeanor breaking and entering into a motor vehicle at 5:19 p.m. near Broad Street. Police said the resident called police after Luna had "damaged the house and car."
Marie E. Nelson, 48, of 6 Highland Park Apt. 1 in Peabody, was charged with domestic assault and battery at 8:36 p.m. at the above address.

Alexandre A. Delaia, 25, of 544 Saratoga St. Apt. 1 in East Boston, was charged with operation of an unlicensed motor vehicle and marked lane violation at 1:37 a.m. near Foster and Washington streets.
A pair of 17-year-olds were issued summonses for an assault at the Peabody Veterans Memorial High School on Lowell Street at 11:47 a.m.

Police were called to a reported assault by a neighbor at a South Street residence at 7:40 p.m.
The ex-girlfriend of a Hudson Street resident reportedly kicked in the inhabitant's door at 8:19 p.m.
Friday
A resident reported to police that she has been kept up because of the smell of marijuana smoke from a downstairs apartment at 12:04 p.m. No one was home when police knocked on the alleged offending apartment on Bridge Street.

Simply stated, a "skunk issue" was documented by police on Federal Street at 3:30 p.m.
An epithet was keyed into a Dodge Caravan during a second battery of vandalism against the vehicle, which was parked on Essex Street. The woman who owns the vehicle said she did not have a problem with anyone and that she would be checking with her children to see if they might know of someone who had the motivation to damage her property. The report was taken at 4:35 p.m.

A Washington Street resident told police he was going to "call it a night" after a noise complaint was reported against him at 3:28 a.m. for playing his music loudly.
Nothing was reported stolen, but a driver's side car window was smashed at 8:12 a.m. on Heritage Drive.
A Volvo parked on Essex Street suffered substantial damage at some point likely overnight. The vehicle had a flat front tire, a nail sticking out of one of the rear wheels and damage from being keyed on its passenger side. The vandalism was reported at 9:34 a.m.
Michael J. McCausland, 33, of 56 Margin St. In Salem, was charged with trespassing at the Lafayette Hotel at 9:50 a.m.
Andres G. Gilderubio Jr., 60, of 56 Margin St. in Salem. was charged with illegal possession of a Class A substance (heroin) at 10:43 a.m. near Lafayette and Harbor streets. As police were arresting Gilderubio on a warrant in connection with dealing heroin, they found a needle allegedly loaded with said drug in his pocket.
John D. Pittamiglio, 37, of 15 School St. in Beverly, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without being a licensed driver, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failing a motor vehicle inspection at 11:34 a.m. near Highland Avenue and Jackson Street.
A wallet was reported stolen on Harbor Street at 4:22 p.m.

Police were called to assist with a guest who was apparently refusing to leave the Marriott on Andover Street at 2:22 p.m.
An item was stolen from a car parked at the Liberty Tree Mall at 5:46 p.m. on Independence Way.
Friday
No one was injured when a car struck a pole near Coolidge Road and Massachusetts Avenue at 6:33 a.m.
Police are compiling a report on a six-car motor vehicle accident near Exit 23 on Route 128 North at 8:02 a.m. Police said at least one car was towed, and ambulances responded to the scene. Details concerning the severity of injuries or the cause of the accident were not available because an accident report had not been filed as of press time.
Joan McLearen, 47, of 801 Manor Road in Beverly, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked registration at 8:43 a.m. on Liberty Street.

According to the police log, "(a) caller said a 4-foot-tall bird was having a face-off with a Mercedes" at 7:50 a.m. near Puritan Road and West Shore Drive. The bird won the face-off — the Mercedes backed up and went around — but the caller was hopeful another vehicle would not strike the animal.
Delbert Glidden, 27, of 99 High St. in Hampton, N.H., was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 8:37 a.m. on Pleasant Street.
