Trick-or-treat hours in North Shore towns

It's almost the bewitching hour.

Halloween trick-or-treaters will be hitting the pavement throughout the North Shore on Sunday evening, Oct. 31.

Police departments set trick-or-treat hours for their local communities, and children should head out only during those hours. Residents who welcome trick-or-treaters should leave on a porch light or outside light.

Following are the trick-or-treat times for Halloween night:

  • Salem: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Beverly: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Boxford: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Danvers: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Hamilton: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Ipswich: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Marblehead: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Middleton: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Peabody: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Swampscott: 4 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Topsfield: 5 to 9 p.m.
  • Wenham: 5 to 8 p.m.
