Police responded to 47 Roslyn St. after a 9:46 p.m. report of a dispute and determined one female had been arguing with another “over the noise level in her apartment.”

A 10:03 p.m. report of a domestic dispute on High Street led to the arrest of Robert Satterwhite, 47, of 8 High St., Salem, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

A 10:28 p.m. report that a suspicious male with a flashlight was looking into houses brought police to 22 Charles St., where they determined he was looking for his cat.



A woman at 32 Story Ave. reported at 12:48 a.m. that her boyfriend had stolen her truck.

Police received a 9:46 a.m. report that a bicycle had been stolen from the basement of 21 Herrick St.

Police assisted a man at 20 Story Ave. after a 2:01 p.m. report that one-and-a-half-year-old child had locked him out.

Police responded to a 5:50 p.m. report of a “man down” at Rantoul and Pond streets and found him “lying face down on glass in filth,” according to the log. An officer wrote that the man had approximately 30 flies “feeding off his wounds to his feet.”

Police received a 7:22 p.m. report that somebody had followed an erratic motorist from Danvers to a Duck Pond Road address. “The operator ran into the building,” wrote police. An officer seized a folding knife and an empty liquor bottle “both in plain view” from the unlocked vehicle. “No answer at door,” wrote police.

An intoxicated male was reported to be “getting ready to be assaulted by multiple parties” at 245 Rantoul St., according to a 7:24 p.m. report. “Those parties advised not to engage him if he returns and [to] call police,” wrote an officer.

A 7:57 p.m. report of a domestic dispute in a vehicle brought police to Dodge Street and Access Road. Subsequently arrested was Casey J. Sarofian, 22, of 61 William Ave., Bradford, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
