Police responded to a 6:04 p.m. report that a skunk was “caught in a fish hook” near 40 Longview Way. An officer wrote later: “Skunk was freed and seemed in good health.”
Police received a 6:51 p.m. report of a domestic dispute at Tedeschi on Lowell Street and subsequently arrested Robert P. Goodrich, 25, of 41 Pine St., Apt. 9, Peabody, on charges of domestic assault and battery and larceny under $250.

An officer was unable to locate anything amiss after a 2 a.m. report that a Newbury Street woman had heard someone speaking in her backyard when she got out of the shower.
A juvenile was transported to North Shore Children’s Hospital after a 9:36 a.m. report that he had possibly dislocated his elbow at the Lynnfield Street YMCA.
At 10 a.m., an officer at the Peabody District Court arrested Tyler M. Ferrier, 20, of 35 Barr St., Apt. 2, Salem, on an outstanding warrant with charges of open and gross lewdness and assault and battery.
A Crowninshield Street woman reported at 1:43 p.m. that she had realized “sometime in the past month” that jewelry had gone missing from her apartment.
A Franklin Avenue resident reported at 1:21 a.m. that he or she had heard knocking at the front door, “but no one is there.”
A bicyclist was hospitalized with a knee laceration after she was struck by a vehicle near the corner of Elliott and Chase streets about 5 p.m. The woman was “bleeding badly” after the accident, according to radio reports.
An officer was unable to locate a man who was reported to be staggering on Lothrop Street at 8:41 p.m.
