A 27-year-old woman was transported to Salem Hospital after she apparently overdosed and was found unconscious in a hallway of the apartment building at 116 Lafayette St. about 12:45 a.m., an officer said. It was unclear what she overdosed on.
Police responded to a 5:13 a.m. noise complaint in the area of 76 Wharf St. and determined a truck driver was “dropping off a bathroom.” Police wrote: “He said that he would be quiet while unloading the rest of his shipment. He was advised of the 8 a.m. city ordinance.”
An officer on patrol on the harborwalk at 10:46 a.m. saw a man “standing up drinking a Busch beer,” according to the incident log. Subsequently arrested was Matthew Eric Michetti, 45, homeless, on a charge of drinking in public.
Police conducted a traffic stop on Wilson Street at 4:31 p.m. and subsequently arrested Analia L. Rodriguez, 18, of 3 Heritage Drive, Salem, on charges of transporting liquor as a minor and having an expired inspection sticker.
Police received a 6:32 p.m. report of a “large bang” nearby 18 Charles St., but an officer was unable to locate anything suspicious in the area.
A vehicle at 7 Pat Drive had been broken into, according to a 2:20 p.m. report.
Police received an 8:23 p.m. report that a catalytic converter had been stolen from a vehicle at 301 Newbury St.
Somebody’s wallet was stolen at Panera Bread on Independence Way, according to a 3:22 p.m. report.
