Jamile Smith, 37, of Boston was arrested at 565 Humphrey St. on charges of unarmed robbery, domestic assault and battery, and disorderly conduct at 7:22 p.m.



Adam M. Jordan, 22, of 599 Cabot St., Beverly, was arrested at his home on two counts of domestic assault and battery, three counts of threatening to commit a crime, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, according to a 11:23 a.m. report.

Raul P. Frometa, 40, of 12 Harrison Ave., Salem, was arrested at 265 Essex St. on a charge of domestic assault and battery at 6:31 p.m.



A two-wheel dolly was reported stolen from a shed at Christian Book Distributors, 140 Summit St., according to a 4:46 p.m. report.


A caller reported that the tires on a vehicle were slashed at 6 Randall Road and indicated that there may be video, according to an 8:44 a.m. report. Officers will review the tape.



Anne M. Mclister, 44, of 29 Banks Road, Swampscott, was arrested on Washington Street on charges of drunken driving and leaving the scene of property damage at 5 p.m.

A TV and DVD players were reported stolen from an apartment at 43 Boston St. The door was reportedly kicked in, according to a 7:09 p.m. report.


A $600 bicycle was reported stolen from 56 Margin St., according to a 10:47 p.m. report. The bike was locked, but the chain was cut, according to the log.

Theodore E. Giesbrandt, 34, of Hartford, Conn., was arrested on a Salem police warrant for domestic assault and battery at 10 Green St., according to a 11:19 a.m. report.

Police responded to the YMCA at 1 Sewall St. for a report that a dog was locked in a car with the windows closed, according to a 11:27 a.m. report. Witnesses said the possible poodle mix had been in the car barking for more than four hours. The Fire Department opened the car, and the dog was taken to the police station, where the animal control officer was notified. The dog, which had no tags, was picked up around 1:15 p.m., according to the log.

Darryl E. Long, of 68 Dane St., Beverly, was arrested on an outstanding Salem warrant at the intersection of Lafayette and Peabody streets, according to a 12:48 p.m. report.
