Jack A. Meyers, 24, of 12 Pope St., Salem, was arrested on charges of driving with an expired inspection and registration, operating after license suspension, illegal possession of a Class E substance, and a warrant for shoplifting, according to a 9:24 a.m. report.

Shawn P. Linehan, 59, of 1 Cross Ave., Salem, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery, according to a 2:44 p.m. report.

A man admitted to police at 5:09 p.m. that he stole two candy bars from a store at 95 Congress St., but “after going to church, he decided to return to the store to pay for the items,” police wrote. The man was issued a no-trespassing order after paying for the items, according to the log.

Ashley M. Linear, 25, of 17 Pope St., Salem, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery, intimidation of a witness, and resisting arrest, according to a 7:53 p.m. report.

Peabody

Friday

A vehicle parked on Sparrow Lane was entered through an unlocked door, and a $200 DVD player with two screens was taken, according to an 8:24 p.m. report.

Saturday

Sage M. Miller, 37, of 8 Proctor St., Peabody, was arrested at his home on a charge of domestic assault and battery at 1:30 a.m.

Fred J. Lisk, 59, of 62 Water St., Apt. 1, Beverly, was arrested at 75 Central St. on a charge of domestic assault and battery, according to an 8:32 a.m. report. Peabody police were assisting Revere police in the arrest, police said.

Sunday

Christian E. Vasquez, 39, of 14 Foster St., Apt. 204, Peabody, was arrested on Andover Street on charges of drunken driving, a marked lanes violation and speeding at 1:22 a.m.

Danvers

Saturday

The driver’s window of a car was reported smashed at the Marriott TownePlace Suites, 238 Andover St., at 8:33 a.m.

Anthony Holland, 24, of Lynn was arrested on Centre Street at 12:06 p.m. on a warrant out of Quincy District Court for assault and battery charges.
