Friday

Police received a 9:20 p.m. report of a loud explosion at 11 Fayette St., but officers were unable to locate anything amiss in the area.

A 9:48 p.m. report of kids with fireworks near Lothrop and Dane streets resulted in the arrests of Michael Shawn Lewis, 25, of 35 Buttonwood Road, Amesbury, on a charge of violating the city’s knife and weapons ordinance, and Anthony Susanno, 25, of 16 Chase St., Beverly, on charges of two counts of violating the city’s knife and weapons ordinance.

Saturday

Police received a 12:03 a.m. report of “people smashing stuff’ at 315 Rantoul St., but they had already left the area by the time officers arrived.

A caller reported hearing three gunshots on Railroad Avenue at 1:53 a.m., but police were unable to locate anything suspicious in the area.

A 10:05 a.m. report of an assault with a baseball bat at 145 New Balch St. resulted in the arrests of Gina Dimarco, 22, of 4 David Circle, Stoneham, on charges of intimidation of a witness and disorderly conduct and Robert Morin, 35, of 286 Washington St., Salem, on charges of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and vandalizing property.

Sunday

A 12:45 a.m. report of a house party involving a “loud group and the smell of marijuana” brought officers to 12 Pleasant St. Subsequently arrested was Norain Truong, 23, of 47 Autumn St., Lynn, on a charge of disturbing the peace, and Reginald Larochelle, 32, of 12 Pleasant St., Beverly, on charges of disturbing the peace and interfering with a police officer.

Four officers responded to a 1:24 p.m. report that “party believes someone is in the house” at 9 Ocean St. Police wrote later: “Grandmother downstairs.”

A 3:36 p.m. report of a shoplifter at a 446 Rantoul St. store resulted in the arrest of Jessica Timmons, 34, of 2 Pratt Ave., Beverly, on a charge of shoplifting.
