Peabody man dies from injuries in Dow plant explosion

NORTH ANDOVER — A man burned in an explosion in a laboratory at the Dow Chemical Co. facility on Willow Street yesterday has died.

A spokesperson for the office of the Essex County District Attorney today confrmed that a 51-year-old man from Peabody had died from his injuries suffered shortly before noon yesterday.

The name of the victim was not being released until it is confirmed his next of kin have been notified.
