Thursday

A Roundy Road woman reported at 11:27 a.m. that she had received calls on her cellphone during which somebody threatened to kill her brother. “She contacted her brother, who is fine,” wrote police. “She also called the number back and was met with a violent response from the same person that originally called her.”

A Frost Lane woman reported at 1:06 p.m. that her neighbor had been harassing her for seven years. “She wishes to speak with an officer for the ongoing problem,” wrote police.

Police received a 3:41 p.m. report that a Green Street woman had returned home to find her air conditioner “out of the window” and her television and computer missing.

Police executed a search warrant at a Puritan Road address at 4:28 p.m. and arrested Raymond H. DePaula, 39, of 23 Puritan Road, Marblehead, on charges of aggravated rape, indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, distribution of material of a child in the nude and posing or exhibiting a child in a sexual act.

Friday

A Jersey Street man reported for the second time in two nights that he had oxygen-eating gas in his home. “He stated that it was being blown in and wanted it noted, he also declined medical attention,” wrote police.

Thursday

A tow truck pulled a taxi out of a ditch at Lowell and Birch streets at about 5:30 p.m., according to the log.

A vehicle struck a parked car, which then struck a house at 23 Warren St., according to a 6:22 p.m. report. No injuries were reported.

A 10:03 p.m. report of a domestic dispute brought police to 46 Veterans Memorial Drive. Subsequently arrested was David Howland, 28, of the same address, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Friday

Four cars were broken into outside the SpringHill Suites hotel on Newbury Street, according to an 8:35 a.m. report.
