A 6:57 p.m. report of a fight in a parking lot brought an officer to Salem Hospital on Highland Avenue. “There was no fight upon arrival,” wrote police. “The hospital security was attempting to return a patient to the hospital for proper treatment.”
Police responded to 13 Liberty Hill Ave. after a 9:18 p.m. report that an intoxicated woman was “out of control.” An officer found the woman and determined she was “acting in a disorderly manner by kicking doors and punching walls.” Susanna Rodgers, 57, of the same address, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Five unlocked cars were entered overnight in the area of Brooks and Horton streets, according to an 8:35 a.m. log item.
Police responded to 32 Essex St. after a 10:20 p.m. report that items had been stolen from an apartment. “Brief investigation revealed that no theft occurred,” wrote police.
A 12:24 a.m. report of an accident at Endicott and Sylvan streets resulted in the arrest of Anthony Scola, 33, of 23 Murray St., Peabody, on charges of drunken driving and failure to stop. There were no injuries.
A 2:45 p.m. report of shoplifting brought police to the Kohl’s on Independence Way. Dana Penick, 26, of 65 Main St., Peabody, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
