During a compliance check of bars in the city around 11:21 p.m., police reported that they found one person, who was waiting for a taxi, who had been overserved at the Sports Page Bar. The incident will be forwarded to the state’s Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission, according to the log report.
Police dispersed “a dozen or so” people from the beaches without incident at 2:50 a.m.
Golf clubs were reported stolen from a car at 191 Cabot St. at 3:39 p.m.
A loud group was dispersed from the playground at Dane Street Beach around 1:38 a.m. A group on the beach was also dispersed, according to the log item.
Police helped get a bat out of a house at 38 Bow St. at 3:21 a.m., using a broom and guiding it out the back door, according to the log.
An illegal trash dumping was reported at the AMC Theater at the Liberty Tree Mall at 8:50 p.m.
A break-in of a motor vehicle was reported at 10 Whipple St. at 12:41 p.m.
Stephen Hachey, 46, of Lynn was arrested on a charge of larceny over $250 from Wal-Mart at 4:11 p.m.
A 26-year-old woman has been suspended from soliciting in the city for one year after using “aggressive business tactics” to gain entry to a home on Edythe Lane, according to 2:28 p.m. report.
A past larceny on June 19 at J.C. Penney at the Northshore Mall was reported to police at 7:50 p.m. Approximately $1,960 worth of Levi’s jeans were stolen.
Nicholas Glennon, 23, 183 Lowell St., Peabody, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and selling/delivering liquor to a person under 21, according to a 1:15 a.m. report.
Eric Eppinger, 20, 8 Brown St., Peabody, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery at his home at 12:04 p.m.
Brendan Hynes, 21, of Billerica was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, trespassing and resisting arrest at 1:20 a.m. after walking into the woods off Route 1.
Steven A. Bohn, 26, 50 Warren St., Apt. 106, Peabody, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and malicious damage over $250, according to a 11:06 a.m. report.
Rafael Alves, 27, of Norwood was arrested at Salem Hospital on warrants for assault with dangerous weapons and unlicensed operation at 1:04 p.m.
Jesse A. Cunha, 22, homeless, was arrested on warrants for forgery and possession of a Class E substance, according to a 5:51 p.m. report.
Zeban J. Zegarowski, 39, 2 Columbus Square, Salem, was arrested on charges of subsequent operating with license suspension, illegal possession of Class B substance, possession of Class B substance with intent to distribute, according to a 6:49 p.m. report.
Paul E. Donnelly, 57, 1 Weathery Drive, Salem, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery at 10:36 p.m.
A security car at North Shore Medical Center, 81 Highland Ave., was reported stolen at 4:25 a.m. It was later recovered by state police in Wakefield, according to the log. The keys were reportedly left in the car. State police will seek charges against a 21-year-old man.
Joshua J. Kalloger, 28, of Lynn was arrested on a charge of larceny over single scheme from Target at 227 Highland Ave., according to a 1:57 p.m. report.
Marc McCarthy, 23, homeless, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery by dangerous weapon at O’Neils Pub, 124 Washington St., according to a 7:30 p.m. report. Police were called to the pub on a report that a person had been hit in the head with a glass, the report said.
Kyle P. Lenehan, 21, of Wakefield was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest on Lafayette St., according to a 1:17 a.m. report.
Police were called to 107 Columbus Ave. by a neighbor for “someone or something trying to enter house,” at 2:43 a.m. It was discovered that a large raccoon was caught in a metal trap. The animal had to be put down due to injury, and the metal trap was confiscated and the matter forwarded to the animal control officer, according to the report.
Douglas S. Macarthur, 51, 3C Griswold Dr., Salem, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery by dangerous weapon (hat) at his home at 3:43 p.m.
Rolland Frazier, 26, of Lynn was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with registration suspended and license not in possession during a traffic stop on Paradise Road, according to a 1:26 a.m. report.
Scott Maifeld, 51, 82 Essex St., Swampscott, was arrested on a drunken-driving charge on Paradise Road at 1:41 a.m.
