Police responded to a report of loud music coming from inside Mercedes’ Place Barber Shop on Boston Street at 3:14 p.m. The manager agreed to lower the music.

Police advised several dog owners to leave the dog park and not return without proper dog tags and dog park registrations.



Dennis Thibault, 52, of 35 Cabot St., Beverly, was arrested at 7:27 p.m. and charged with threatening to commit a crime and assault and battery on a disabled person over 60. The victim was taken to Beverly Hospital.


Police responded at 2:11 a.m. to a report of suspicious activity with youths looking in cars on Giles Avenue. Robert Bruce, 23, of 137 Bridge St., Beverly, and Wesley Chandler, 23, of 27 West Dane St., Beverly, were arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony. Chandler was also charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a burglarious instrument, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and possession of an open container of alcohol.

Police responded at 6:38 a.m. to a complaint of a loud stereo at CrossFit Variance at 126 Park St. Police advised the business to turn down the music.



Police received a report at 8:52 a.m. of a person cut with a saw at the Red Rock Bistro on Humphrey Street.

A Priscilla Road resident told police her house was egged.



Wilmer Meono, 20, of 25 Tapley St., Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested on Atlantic Avenue at 11:27 p.m. and charged with drunken driving and driving without a license.



Elvis Perez, 39, of 28C Federal St., Apt. 3, Salem, was arrested at 11:25 p.m. at Washington and Hourihan streets and charged with driving without a license.
