A caller on Lynnfield Street reported a male in hospital garb was walking along the road near the YMCA at 3:20 p.m. Atlantic Ambulance and Lynn police also responded to the scene, and officers reported the man was taken to an Upham Street apartment. The man apparently “eloped” from the Emergency Room at Lynn Union Hospital, but it wasn’t necessary for him to return.
Steven C. Kenney, 28, of 233 Lafayette St., #3, Salem, was arrested following a report of a person passed out inside a motor vehicle on Hancock Street at 4:39 p.m. He was charged with possession of a class A drug.
A caller reported that someone broke into a shed at a Parsons Street home and stole multiple items sometime since April 18 and 4:40 p.m. that day.
At 4:51 p.m., a caller reported three kids were engaged in indecent exposure to oncoming traffic at the corner of Holten and Sewall streets.
A caller on Judith Road reported at 5:29 p.m. that males were erratically operating a vehicle and almost forced the caller off the road. The person was just arriving home when a vehicle sped up toward the car and started blasting the horn, scaring the driver. An officer spoke to the owner of the other vehicle who summoned his son home for a chat. “The son agreed his behavior was foolish” and wouldn’t do it again.
A caller on Lynn Street reported that her son found a white substance inside a balloon at 5:55 p.m. The Fire Department responded to the scene and disposed of the items.
A caller on Washington Street reported at 6:35 p.m. that a mauve-colored suitcase was stolen from the second-floor porch of her residence. She said it contained two DVDs and four CDs from the library, new clothing and a thick journal. There were no suspects.
