A man told police that someone broke the driver’s side window of his car with a rock while it was parked at the Moose Lodge on Grove Street. Police said the rock appeared to weigh about 60 pounds.
Margret Gallant, 18, of 19 Kosciuszko St., Salem, was arrested at 4:14 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace. Police said they had received a complaint of loud music less than 20 minutes earlier and advised her of the consequences if they had to return because of more complaints.
Police responded at 4:27 a.m. to a report of suspicious activity on Cloutman Street and found a man sleeping in his car. The man told police he lives with his girlfriend but could not get into the apartment and his cellphone battery was dead.
Police responded at 6:22 a.m. to a motor vehicle accident on Essex Street and found a car on the wrong side of the road that had collided with two parked cars. The driver was walking around on the sidewalk and told police he had chest pains that caused him to cross the double yellow line and crash into the parked cars. The man was evaluated at the scene by medical personnel and refused transport to the hospital. All three vehicles were towed. The driver, a Lynn man, was cited for a marked lanes violation.
Samantha Chaletzky, 21, of 16 Phillips St., Salem, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery.
A girl told police she is being bullied by other girls on Facebook.
A Crowninshield Street resident reported that a grill had been stolen off his porch.
A person called police to report that someone had flashed a handgun toward him during a road rage incident. Joshua Messenger, 40, of 103 Adams Ave., Saugus, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and with improper storage of a firearm.
