Degrees awarded: Master of arts, master of education, master of science, master of business administration, master of fine arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of arts, bachelor of fine arts, associate in arts, associate in science

Speaker: Anne Mosle, vice president at the Aspen Institute, an educational and policy studies organization based in Washington, D.C., and executive director of Ascend at the Aspen Institute

Honorary degrees: Honorary doctor of humane letters to Anne Mosle and Martha Farmer. Farmer is president, CEO and co-founder of North Shore InnoVentures, a nonprofit business incubator for life sciences and clean-tech startups in Beverly.

Awards: Excellence in Teaching Award, voted on by the graduating class, to Cindy Fichera, an assistant professor in the School of Nursing since 2008.
