Police: 5 kids in getaway van during robbery

WOBURN (AP) — Police say a Danvers couple robbed a home in Woburn while their five young children waited in the getaway van.

Woburn police say they received a report of a man prowling around a home Friday evening.

When officers arrived, a man fled from the basement, struggled with police and jumped into a minivan that was waiting for him. That sparked a high-speed car chase into Lexington before police cruisers boxed in the getaway car.

The kids’ 26-year-old mother and 39-year-old father were arrested on charges including felony larceny and child endangerment. She was released on bond, but he remained in jail late Friday.

Authorities later identified the suspects as Salina Pasquarello and Ralph Pasquarello.
