Police responded to word of a glass door smashed in on Conrad Lane at 5:13 p.m. Nothing appeared to have been taken. The damaged door was boarded over.

Two large, golden dogs appeared on Bartholomew Street at 7:59 p.m. “The officer performed a Christmas miracle and located the owners at the intersection of Bartholomew and Lynnfield,” according to the report.

Anthony Miscioscia, 18, of 7 Oak St., Peabody, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. on Oak Street by Officer Matt Stark on a charge of aggravated domestic assault and battery and wanton destruction of property valued at less than $250. A man had called to complain that his pregnant daughter was “involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, she is parked in the lot and having difficulty breathing,” according to the log.

Saturday

Police dispersed a group of angry people in the vicinity of Oliveira’s Steak House on Walnut Street, according to a 12:35 a.m. log entry. “Many indicated they would continue in their hometowns,” according to the log. Police in Salem and Lynn were notified. In what may have been a related incident, a woman reported seeing a fight next to her car on nearby Paleologos Street, resulting in a smashed passenger-side window, as logged at 12:53 a.m.
