BEVERLY — HBO is coming to the North Shore, again.
Beverly Chamber of Commerce Executive Director John Somes said he received a call from a representative of HBO saying that a crew of about 100 people is coming to the Beverly area to film for the cable television network.
The caller did not say what type of filming would be done but did ask for information on where the crew members could visit and eat during their stay.
The chamber sent out an email to all of its members asking them to drop off brochures at the chamber office to be given to HBO. Somes said the crew is scheduled to arrive soon and stay through December.
“It’s great for everyone, especially if they want to do all their business here,” Somes said.
This will be the second trip to the North Shore for HBO. Last year, Larry David filmed scenes for his upcoming HBO movie “Clear History” on the North Shore, including at North Shore Music Theatre and Marino’s Cafe in Beverly.
“Clear History” is scheduled to premiere on Aug. 10 on HBO.
