A Pulaski Street woman reported at 10:14 p.m. that she had seen “lights in the sky by her house.” An officer determined she had seen the lights above a factory across from 53 Pulaski St.

Police received a 10:35 p.m. report that a suspicious black SUV had followed a Hamilton Road woman’s son down the street. “No further information at this time,” wrote police, who were unable to locate anything suspicious in the area.

Tuesday

A 24-year-old Jackson Avenue man was transported to Salem Hospital after a 1:14 a.m. report that an allergic reaction had caused his tongue to swell.

Police received a 1:52 a.m. report that there was a group of drunken people in front of Charles Hotel on Mill Street. “Gathering dispersed without incident,” police wrote later.

A 73-year-old Ledgewood Way man was transported to Salem Hospital after an 8:28 a.m. report that he had taken the wrong medication.

An officer found a 6-year-old boy “wandering” near 2 Washington St., according to a 9:03 a.m. log item. The officer returned the child home and spoke to his mother, determining that he “went out on his own.”

A Brooksby Village Drive woman reported at 9:39 a.m. that $104 had been taken from her wallet while she was in a dining hall the night before.

Monday

A tree had fallen onto a vehicle at Cabot and Bartlett streets, according to a 4:52 p.m. report.

Police received a 7:02 p.m. report of a scam in which an Elliott Street woman had wired somebody $540.

A 8:02 p.m. report that somebody was pounding on a door brought police to 68 Cabot St. Subsequently arrested was James David Silva, 44, of 72 Cabot St., Beverly, on a charge of destruction of property.

Police received a 10:27 p.m. report that a drunken man was yelling at a woman in a Wallis Street apartment. Police didn’t report finding anything suspicious after responding to that location.
