Judge relents on bringing murder suspects to court

“OK, we will do it your way,” the judge agreed, but then reminded the lawyers that they had to wait more than two hours yesterday for the arrival of the defendant from Norfolk County.

Lin, 31, of Malden; Lee, 36, of Quincy; and Sun, 47, of New York, are each charged with murder, intimidating to steal from a depository and armed assault with intent to murder a person over 60.

The next hearing in the case is scheduled for Sept. 10.

Lu also ordered the defense lawyers to file any motions to suppress evidence or dismiss the charges by Oct. 10.
