PEABODY — Police say a man showed a gun during a holdup at Holden Oil station on Lynnfield Street tonight.

No injuries were reported.

The robbery occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. when a white man wearing a black ski mask and black top showed a handgun — described as being semiautomatic in radio reports — and made off with an unknown amount of cash, police said.

The man fled in an unknown direction after the robbery.
