A Joyce Road woman reported at 10:17 a.m. that three or four teens were throwing rocks at her house. An officer checked the area but was unable to locate them.
A Dark Lane caller reported finding a spoon near a park at 12:15 p.m. Police wrote: “She believes the spoon was involved in [drug] activity and wants an officer to take possession of it.”
Police received a 10:39 p.m. report from a Loring Avenue woman who said her daughter had struck her in the head with an unidentified object. Subsequently arrested was Melissa Comins, 44, of 1 Loring Ave., Swampscott, on charges of domestic assault and battery and assault and battery on a person disabled or 60 years old or over.
Police received a 6:10 p.m. report that a 7-year-old on Manor Road was “out of control.”
A 10:07 p.m. report of a fight brought police to the area of Neptune Street and Lawnbank Road. Police wrote later: “No fight. Men yelling at each other.” One man said a group of 19-year-olds had “tossed a beer in his yard”; the other said the first had accosted him and his friends “for no reason.” Neither wished to pursue the matter, according to the log.
A 10:46 p.m. report that a male was banging on a female’s door at 46 Wallis St. resulted in the arrest of Jason Thomas Lee, 35, of 2 Collins St., Salem, on charges of intimidation of a witness and violation of an abuse prevention order.
At 10:59 a.m., an officer at 48 Pleasant St. arrested Allen Delisle, 26, of 70 Dodge St., Salem, on charges of disturbing the peace. He was also wanted on five warrants, according to the log. An officer said Delisle was arrested after a brief foot chase.
Police were unable to locate a woman “with apparent mental health issues” who was reported to be in the area of Charnock and Knowlton streets at 12:08 p.m.
