Friday

Someone near Sunset Drive heard it, and a juvenile is under arrest for aggravated domestic assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon as a result. The words overheard by a neighbor included a call to “put the knife down,” according to the log at 3:06 p.m.

Aida E. Alceyan, 32, 59 Walnut St., Peabody, was arrested, as logged at 4:14 p.m., at the Legal Seafoods at Northshore Mall on a charge of disorderly conduct. This came as police were arresting a woman living at the same apartment block on three outstanding warrants.

Amber L. Caruso, 33, 28 Essex Ln. Peabody, was to be summonsed, as logged at 5:33 p.m., near Wilson Terrace and Central Street by Officer Matthew Mason on charges of leaving the scene of personal injury and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Police had responded to a report of a hit and run. A woman was taken to the Lahey Clinic.

A hit and run on Sachem Road, as reported at 11:27 p.m., will see a 36-year-old Danvers woman summonsed.

Saturday

Gunfire reported on Hourihan Street at 12:11 a.m. turned out to be fireworks on Coolidge Avenue.

Lyn T. Burnell, 44, 16 Crowninshield St., Peabody, was arrested, as logged at 2:30 a.m., by Officer Brian Collela, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

A stolen wallet resulted in a $650 purchase from Victoria’s Secret with a stolen credit card, as reported by the victim at 10:27 a.m.

A group said to be “setting up housekeeping” in woods behind Foster Street were told “not to set up any campfires in the future,” according to the log at 12:10 p.m.

While tires were being installed, a vehicle was stolen on Webster Street. It was found minus the stereo. The tire shop promised to replace it, according to the log at 12:32 p.m.
