Tuesday

A 5:16 p.m. report of shoplifting at Walmart on Brooksby Village Drive resulted in the arrest of Kristen Grasso, 20, of 2 Tapley Road, Lynnfield, on a charge of shoplifting.

Wednesday

Police received a 2:45 a.m. report of a “ping”-type noise at Locust Street and Washington Avenue, but police were unable to locate anything suspicious in that area.

An officer conducted a traffic stop on Andover Street at 6:19 a.m. and arrested Joel Salcedo, 20, of 55 Driscoll St., Peabody, on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

A traffic stop on Elliott Street at 6:38 a.m. resulted in the arrest of Michael Correa, 27, of 28 Morton St., Lawrence, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, having an altered exhaust and not displaying a number plate sticker.

Jewelry was stolen from a Trask Street address, according to a 4:28 p.m. report.
