Police received a 1:13 p.m. report that a lawnmower had been stolen from a garage on Atlantic Avenue.
A man on Green Street reported at 3:43 p.m. that kids had stolen his lunch bag from his work truck. The bag contained a wallet with a debit card, 40 Vicodin pills and $100 in cash, the man said. “Caller is looking around trying to find the kids who stole the bag,” wrote an officer. Police didn’t report finding the youths.
A 3:57 p.m. report of a domestic disturbance at a Fairview Road address resulted in the arrests of John Hatt, 21, of 9 Fairview Road, Apt. A, Marblehead, on a charge of domestic assault and battery, and Christine Kennedy, 24, of 14 Chapel St., Apt. 2, Norwood, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
A Mohawk Road caller reported at 2:11 a.m. that she “thought she heard someone outside messing around with the wires of her TV because both of her TVs restarted.” Police wrote: “There was nothing showing in the area and all the TVs and wires are fine. They were advised if they see anyone in the area to call back and the officers will check it out.”
Police fielded a 10:21 p.m. report that an animal was “screaming” outside 43 Paleologos St., but police were unable to locate it.
Police received an 11:19 a.m. report of a “loud explosion” from a woman on Sherwood Avenue. “She does not know where it came from,” wrote police. “The officer checked the area and spoke with the resident and stated that the area was quiet.”
Two motorists were taken to Salem Hospital with undisclosed injuries after a 1:59 p.m. report of an accident near 397 Lowell St. Both vehicles were towed.
Police received an 11:22 p.m. report of a loud party in a backyard near 69 Story Ave., but officers were unable to locate it.
