Man killed in Gloucester remembered as a hard worker

(Continued)

“The driver of the motor vehicle is cooperating with the investigation and no arrests have been made,” Kimball Monahan wrote in a Saturday email to the Gloucester Daily Times, a sister paper to The Salem News.

Meanwhile, police were reportedly continuing yesterday to interview a number of witnesses regarding the incident, though there was nothing at the incident location indicating a crime scene or any other signs of investigation.

The site of the fatality came on a portion of LePage Lane that essentially serves as a driving aisle between parking spaces on the lower level of the Pond View Village complex, just past the management offices.

Sitting side by side, Pond View Village and The Heights at Cape Ann are both large-scale apartment complexes with some condominiums located off lower Essex Avenue, or Route 133.

Staff of the Gloucester Daily Times contributed to this report.
