What: 121st commencement exercises at the college

Where: Gordon College in Wenham

Graduates: 311 undergraduate students, 55 graduate students

Speaker: Gordon College President D. Michael Lindsay

Honorary degrees: Dr. Ann Ferguson, professor emeritus of English, who taught for more than 55 years at Gordon College; Dr. R. Preston Mason, a 1985 Gordon graduate in biology who is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and is CEO of Elucida Research, a private biotechnology company in Beverly; and Dr. Benedito Guimarães Aguiar Neto, president of Mackenzie Presbyterian University in Brazil.

Top majors: Economics and business; education, psychology, sociology and social work and communication arts
